How to calculate area of a square

Example: calculate the area of square whose sides each measuring 4cm.
Solution : Area=4 x 4 = 16 cm2
How to calculate area of a rectanlge

Solution : Area=4 x 8 = 32 cm2

How to calculate area of a rhombus
Area of rhombus can be calculated using three different methods
1. the “base height” method

2. the diagonals method
